Online lectures, virtual laboratory demonstrations, and various interactive computer activities are utilized to educate students in the basic foundational principles of caregiving. At the end of this course, students will understand the principles of infection control, safe body mechanics, resident/patient/client rights, basic care procedures, and the role of the nursing assistant.
