Overview

Train in state-of-the art facilities: HVACR students learn to solve problems they will encounter on the job by diagnosing and fixing real, working equipment during class time.

Work in energy management: In addition to preparing students to become a certified HVACR technicians, we also offer an Energy Audit class in which students learn about energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption and how to perform energy audits.

Transfer to a top program: WCC makes it easy for students who want to go on and earn a bachelor's degree. Our program credits transfer to Ferris State University's bachelor of science in HVAC, to a bachelor of science in Technology Management at Eastern Michigan University and several other degrees at EMU.

Earn your certification quickly and affordably: You can become fully HVACR certified in 2 years or less. Classes are offered at a variety of times during the day and evening. Most HVACR students work while taking classes.
