WCC prides itself on offering high-quality classes at affordable tuition rates.

You can save tens of thousands of dollars by taking your first two years of college classes at WCC. Here’s how WCC’s in-district tuition rate per credit hour compares with rates at other schools:

  • $91: WCC
  • $266: Eastern Michigan University
  • $327: Western Michigan University
  • $370: Central Michigan University
  • $510: University of Michigan College of Literature, Science & the Arts

Financial aid can help reduce costs

To help make college even more affordable, WCC offers several types of financial aid:

  • Grants
  • Scholarships
  • Loans for you or your parents
  • Work-study

About 40 percent of WCC students receive financial aid. Everyone should apply for aid because it isn’t always based just on income. Almost everyone at least qualifies for loans.
