The DSST is formerly known as as the DANTES Subject Standardized Test.
These tests provide WCC a way to measure your knowledge in commonly taught college courses. Based on your score, you can earn college credit. You can choose from a variety of test titles in the areas of:
- Social science
- Business
- Mathematics
- Technology
- Humanities
- Physical science

We offer the online version only. All online tests must be scheduled. To make your appointment, please call 734-677-5100.
Cost
- DSST charges an $80 fee, due at the start of the test session. Pay online with a credit or debit card.
- The Testing Center charges a $30 fee on the day of testing, payable by check or money order.
- Both the DSST and WCC fees will be waived for military and military-approved candidates.
