What is LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is a leading online learning company that helps anyone learn business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. Through individual, corporate, academic and government subscriptions, members have access to the LinkedIn Learning video library of engaging, top-quality courses taught by recognized industry experts.

How will WCC use LinkedIn Learning

We are enabling access to LinkedIn Learning material for any faculty, staff or student who would like to learn something new using LinkedIn Learning's innovative learning environment. Faculty members will have the opportunity to create “Playlists” within LinkedIn Learning that can then be assigned to students.

Accessing LinkedIn Learning

Once you have activated your account you can begin using LinkedIn Learning immediately.

To access LinkedIn Learning after activating your account follow these steps:

  • Log into Blackboard (You must be logged into Blackboard)
  • Under "My Courses" click on the "TLC: Teaching & Learning Center"
  • Under "Course Materials" click on "LinkedIn Learning" for your group
  • Click on any of the videos to open LinkedIn Learning

System Requirements and Mobile Device Applications

LinkedIn Learning offers access to content using any internet connected device through their mobile site. For iOS and Android users there is an application available for download which allows for easier access to content using a mobile device. Windows mobile device users can access LinkedIn Learning for their devices using the mobile site by logging onto m.linkedin.com from any device with an internet connection.
