Danielle Milner
As a founding partner of DO:BETTER and the studio’s brand strategist, Danielle works side by side with clients and creative teams pairing the discipline of strategy with the emotion of brand to launch businesses that matter to the world.
Prior to stating DO:BETTER, Danielle was the Senior Vice President, Strategy, Brand + Culture at a $2 billion credit union with over 170,000 members. She was directly responsible for developing the organization’s strategic plan and leading the organization’s effort toward differentiation. During her tenure, she was a key contributor to the organization’s growth, which more than doubled in assets, membership and locations. Danielle identified and subsequently led the implementation of several functions and strategic initiatives critical to these advancements.
Danielle spent several years at Kolt Communications, an independent public relations and advertising agency where she specialized in shaping the stories of private, public and non-profit clients through both massive celebrations and difficult situations, earning the respect of clients and the media and a few dozen awards along the way.
Danielle also served as an Instructor at Michigan State University where she taught public relations writing and public relations campaigns courses. She’s been a featured speaker around the country. Danielle earned her MBA from Cleary University and her BA from Michigan State University. Danielle is also a graduate of the Filene Research Institute’s highly-esteemed i3 innovation program.
Danielle serves on the Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority and as a Board Director at the Riverside Arts Center. She’s also a Board Director of Friends In Deed. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys running, historical fiction, and political commentary. At DO:BETTER, she says “Strategy” more than anyone else.
