Our top priority is the health and safety of our community, and therefore we regret that we have to cancel the PITCH @ WCC 2020 event on May 12, 2020 at this time. Stay updated on WCC's COVID-19 campus updates here: WCC's COVID-19 response page.
Thank you to everyone who applied to participate in Pitch @ WCC 2020! Our team is connecting by email and phone to communicate ways in which you can continue to use the EC's resources and online tools for pitch participants during this time. While our coworking space is closed and workshops/events are on hold, we are available via phone or email. If you have additional questions, please email [email protected] or call 734-249-5880.
Congratulations to all of our Pitch@WCC 2019 participants! See details below on our winners, event photos, and a video update on the 2018 “Grow” category winner.
Pitch@WCC is The Entrepreneurship Center at Washtenaw Community College’s premier event of the year, where entrepreneurs in three categories pitch their business ideas for cash prizes: Start, Build and Grow.
Pitch@WCC includes three months of required workshops on pitch training and storytelling. Entrepreneurs then prepare their pitches to present at the evening event, which includes food, a DJ and a panel of five judges from our on-campus and off-campus business community. A favorite is our audience choice award!
